A. Anne McLellan, P.C.
The Honourable A. Anne McLellan is with Bennett Jones LLP and is the first Distinguished Scholar in Residence at the Institute for US Policy Studies, University of Alberta. She serves on the Board of Directors of Nexen, Agrium, Cameco and the Edmonton Regional Airports Authority and also sits on several community committees and boards including the Board of the Royal Alexandra Hospital Charitable Foundation.
She served four terms as the Liberal MP for Edmonton Centre, during which she was Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Minister of Health, Minister of Justice and Minister of Natural Resources. From 1980 - 1992 she was a professor in the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law and served as both Associate Dean (1985 - 1987) and Acting Dean (1991 - 1992) of the Faculty.
