Policy Options | Article submissions
Policy Options is a bilingual magazine published 10 times per year by the Institute for Research on Public Policy. Its articles deal with public policy issues and are written for an educated (though not necessarily specialist) readership. Potential contributors are encouraged to avoid submissions with excessive discipline-specific jargon and theory.

Submissions should be empirically based and avoid unsupported opinions or advocacy. Authors are also encouraged, to the extent possible, to propose solutions to identified policy weaknesses. Footnotes and endnotes are not accepted, though research can be referenced in the body of the text if necessary. Tables and charts can be used (Microsoft Word format; please include underlying data for charts). Articles, for which no compensation is provided by the IRPP, should be between 1,500 and 4,000 words in length.

Please send submissions to Editor, L. Ian MacDonald,(imacdonald@irpp.org).
