In recent years, there has been renewed interest in the impact of inequality on economic growth and the effect of economic growth on the income distribution. To shed light on these relationships in a Canadian context, the IRPP undertook, in conjunction with the Centre for the Study for Living Standards (CSLS), an extensive research program to investigate the linkages between economic growth and inequality.
