Research | Art of the State
Launched in 2001, The Art of the State is a biennial conference series whose goal is to comprehensively examine emerging policy challenges of long-term significance for Canada. To date, four conferences have been held, and their proceedings have been published as edited volumes:

Volume I: Governance in a World without Frontiers (2003)

Volume II: Thinking North America (2004-05)

Volume III: Belonging? Diversity, Recognition and Shared Citizenship in Canada (2007)

Volume IV: Northern Exposure: Peoples, Powers and Prospects in Canada's North (2007-09)
